| HANSCOM AFB NEW COMMISSARY PROJECT | |
| In October 2002, ECSI completed the asbestos & Haz/Mat remediation prior to the demolition of three existing buildings in preparation for the construction of a new commissary at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts. The scope of work included asbestos removal, purging and removal of all industrial waste lines within the complex, hazardous material remediation (paints, oils, used antifreeze, cleaning supplies) and a 3 million gallon dewatering and carbon filtration (due to high iron content and presence of jet fuel) of the 12 acre building site.
